Small town girl, big time dreamer...

I spent most of my youth in the town of  Thief River Falls, MN. From a young age I always knew small town life just wasn't for me. I was a wild child. I dreamed of moving to the big city. In 2002 I had my son and started attending beauty school. I had to put my dreams of moving on hold. I never gave up and that day finally came in 2008. I packed up my belongings and put my little boy in the back seat of my 1999 VW Jetta! Big City: Here I come! The rest is "Hair-story".

I began working at Rouge Urban Salon, in St Paul, following my move in 2008. It was a brand new boutique salon and I was in love. I cherish my time there. I learned so much. In 2018 I made the very difficult decision to leave. It was time to create something of my own.  I have since created the little salon of my dreams. I am constantly  inspired by my peers.  They motivate me to be better and always have the answers when I do not.
